Feedback
Thank you for the wonderful and easy-to-use kindness site with images. I think there are many users who are satisfied with it as it is.
So the following are just casual ‘absurd figments’, not demands.
It might be fun if users could add tags or post review texts (since they are not available on the sales site).
However, I think the management cost would skyrocket because it could become a hotbed for trolls. It seems like it’s a lot of work for Mx.doclan to reply to everyone,
so I thought it would reduce the load if requests and the recovery/suspension period of missing links were automatically listed on a page like the information list.A distress signal button that can be pressed only once when email verification is not possible at the time of account registration.
I was lucky enough to have a second phone line that I could use for discord account verification, but I was very anxious until the verification email arrived in the spam folder.
There might be newcomers who would be saved if there was room to notify that ‘the verification email has not arrived’.

suckcandy Thanks for taking the time to list these. You mention both good ideas and current problems that need to be solved but are difficult to solve.
- Giving it to the community to govern is very dependent on the quality of the users, but since accounts are all free to register, it is easy for people to register a large number of bot accounts to control ratings and comments (they may even do this just for fun). And we are so severely short-staffed that disruptive behavior may not be noticed until long after it has occurred.
- Requests and missing links mainly come from replies in posts. Automatic listing may just simplify the process. It may end up with the same design as content-upload (but it will be more direct for users to see its status) , but I don’t think it has much impact on my work stress reduction, it’s probably just the difference between four mouse clicks and two mouse clicks.
- We are aware of this issue, the inability to resend verification emails seems to be by design of flarum, I will try to fix this. It is almost an unsolvable problem for emails reaching the spam box, and this is because the mail server is hosted by ourselves. I understand that large email providers may use credit ratings, which calculate a score based on the content of all emails sent by the target server to determine whether to enter the spam box.
Also, you mentioned discord account verification, but I don't understand what it means.
doclan Thank you for your polite response to my thoughtless ramblings!
As you say, the management cost and risk are very high, and since the numbers are superficial, it is easy to manipulate with bots. My idea is a naive fantasy.
I was imagining that it would be “Additional hard work”, so if it doesn’t change much, it was an off-target mention.
I was also happy when I received advice on discord when I couldn’t create an account, so I appreciate that Mx.doclan takes the time to interact directly with us. Thank you always!I should have written “F**kin’ SpamFilters!” lol.
I was saved by your understanding of the case where the confirmation email may not be sent.
The reason I can now enjoy customizing avatars from the bottom of my heart is thanks to the great kindness of Mx.doclan and team members.
Thank you so much for continuing the wonderful site!
- No, it's not like that. I just mentioned the negative part of community autonomy. Proper manual management and community autonomy are not actually in conflict. But as you can see, users are quite inactive (for discussion), and it just hasn't reached the stage where this feature is needed.
- We will consider using a third-party email provider to avoid this problem later, but most email providers may not pass the site content verification so well due to the problem of site content legitimacy verification.
Thank you for your careful explanation, Mx.doclan.
Communication through words often leads to misunderstandings, disagreements, and discord
(even among those who speak the same language!)
Thanks to your polite responses, I feel very reassured.
(Thank you also for taking the time to deal with the email issue.
The problem with spam filters is common on other sites, and there is a guide, so I feel sorry for asking you to pay so much cost.)
Now, I would like to discuss under the assumption that Mx.doclan is thinking, “It would be nice if there could be some discussion or talk on this site”
(of course, this is just my personal speculation, so if it’s wrong or if you think the discussion with me is already over, please skip it).
Ⓐ I propose a hypothesis that when people try to discuss something, whether or not they have a sense of belonging to that place is important.
(For example, if a problem occurs around the house where you live, you will try to do something about it, but if a water pipe bursts or a landslide occurs on the way, many people will just detour.)
Ⓑ So one idea to make everyone feel a sense of belonging is to encourage the active act of “posting a review text (not a score)”.
If the text you write can be useful to someone, that person should be able to find “their own significance” on this site.
Ⓒ Or rather, to be honest, I want to try it myself lol.
I could prove it right now by taking a screenshot and starting a topic, but I’m scared of the risk of being identified.
I’m enjoying a lot of customization thanks to this site, but I can’t report the results. This is frustrating even for me.
Ⓓ Also, if there are people who can respond to requests like “I want this avatar to wear this costume!”,
or if there are places where you can publish data that has changed the body shape of the avatar and ask questions about Unity and Blender technology,
There may be more opportunities for interaction between users.
“Letting an avatar wear a dedicated costume” requires some technical skills and know-how, and I think there are many things that everyone who has received your kindness can contribute.
Thank you always

suckcandy Quite constructive advice!
If you think there is any misunderstanding, please let me know.
The email issue is still being worked on, I've been pretty busy lately, I just pinned it on my to-do list in case I forget, but I haven't started on any of it.
A) Indeed, I have seen many people feel proud to be contributors or staff of certain websites. This is a sense of belonging. But I have to mention that I lack experience in operating such websites. It seems that everyone just comes here to download some files and leave. How can I make them stay here to contribute?
B) I will take this.
C) Sure, I don't get what is risk of being identified. If you want, there are a number of almost anonymous sites like imgur or streamable that can host them.
D) I have created a tag for you to post to if you want helping people or create own tutorial.
If all your concerns are based on DMCA or search engine indexing, honestly, I don't care about that, sites like reddit have similar content and it's never been removed
Fantastic I feel like I’m beginning to see the course that Captain doclan is aiming for in this thread.
I also reflect on my fear of making mistakes in English and trying to get by with as much fixed phrases as possible.
(The site is so complete that I couldn't imagine that the captain doclan was in trouble. Sorry...)
However,
- “The hotpants, chain collar, and belt chest protector of "ViolenceRabbit" are awesome!”
- “Combine the tie on the chest from "アレステッドレポート" and "Breast Physics Plus Plus", we can become the most “Gainaxing” sexy POLICE!”
I’m getting excited about being able to post such things!
And I also set up icons to show tastes and personalities
!
Great_Thor Yes, thank you for your understanding, allowing only English is also a way to keep order, and using a translator can also learn something from it.
I like your imagination. Captain is a good title. Website creation also takes time to build. However, how to keep the ship sailing longer is also a challenge, just as this topic discusses several key issues on how to keep the website running continuously.
I’m getting excited about being able to post such things!
If you want to post something, you can upload it by going to VRCPirate -> Content Upload in the navigation bar.

@suckcandy I don't know why you deleted the reply, if it was a mistake I can help you restore it.
M) I don't intend to rush anything, including the matter of the email, so I'd be happy if you could prioritize your own time and rest.
You mentioned that your email verification has not been completed? I checked your account when you first mentioned this issue and it showed up fine. Sorry, my mistake, I didn't know you were still not verified. I will fix this for you in a few days.
After all, I'm just riding on the thread and spouting off my own delusions, snip
I think you're worrying too much about this, I just mentioned I was busy with other things, relax.
It might be fun to let users tag themselves and follow their preferences. [Kikyo][huge_breasts][NFSW][bondage_outfit]
(*Implementation is very difficult, so please just listen to it as a wild story)
Good idea! I'll make a note of this so I can reorganize the team to write this feature later.
I have a very distinctive custom, so if someone who knows me sees it, they can easily identify me.
Understandably, this is your privacy.
If the know-how of 'Chimera Maker', 'VRC Blend Shape Limit Breaking/Synthesis Tool', 'Breast Physics Plus Plus', 'AvatarBasicTools', 'LocomotionSet', '' spreads, and people who distribute legal modification Prefab Only without containing original data come out, it feels like a good premonition that this site will become one of the cultures (places of interaction)."
We have recorded 2 or 3 tutorials, but they were all deleted or not released due to quality issues. I realized that it is not that easy to record a good tutorial...
In addition, the websites you listed made me think whether I should replace Flarum with other forum systems, because it is not a subforum -> thread relationship, but a thread -> tag relationship.
doclan Good job! I was planning to repost after the situation had settled down. There’s also a mention of "Captain doclan", so I’ll ask for a restoration this time.
You mentioned that your email verification has not been completed?
No problem, I’m fine!
I’m just worried about the risk of newbies experiencing the same situation as when I couldn’t get email verification in April and you had to deal with it.
I think you’re worrying too much about this, I just mentioned I was busy with other things, relax.
Thank you. It seems I’ve become timid, remembering a time when a casual fantasy I mentioned to someone was taken as a demand and caused them undue stress.
We have recorded 2 or 3 tutorials
Wow! You work fast…!
You are too good. We users won’t have room to post sloppy tutorials and improve them! lol
However, the fact that you’re already handling these tools to the point where you can explain them to people is a wonderful thing to admire.
I respect you for being excellent and hardworking.
Understandably, this is your privacy.
Thank you. I appreciate your deep compassion.
On the other hand, I would like to meet you. I’ll work hard on setting up VRCT.
the websites you listed made me think whether I should replace Flarum with other forum systems
What a great perspective…!
It’s quite a difficult problem.
It might be a matter of direction, whether you want to make it a ‘library where information accumulates’ or a ‘park where emotions fly around’.
It might also be a good idea to divide it into a ‘place for a subforum where accurate announcements are neatly arranged regularly’ and a ‘place to enjoy tagging while spilling out miscellaneous chaos’."

I’m just worried about the risk of newbies experiencing the same situation as when I couldn’t get email verification in April and you had to deal with it.
It's hard to tell if someone received or didn't receive the email, everyone has different settings for their emails, if some email providers allow you to set filtering levels, and they happen to set the level very high so that they can't receive the verification email, I would tell them to check their spam folder.
Thank you. It seems I’ve become timid, remembering a time when a casual fantasy I mentioned to someone was taken as a demand and caused them undue stress.
No problem.
Wow! You work fast…!
This was back in the early days of vrcpirate, which is a bit old, and I mentioned that their quality was not good.
It might also be a good idea to divide it into a ‘place for a subforum where accurate announcements are neatly arranged regularly’ and a ‘place to enjoy tagging while spilling out miscellaneous chaos’."
I personally prefer the sub-forum style, which is relatively orderly, but some people think that the discussion environment is too strict. For now, it is better to keep the status quo and this plan can be implemented later.

@suckcandy I just realized that the mail server has been gone for months... I didn't even know about it, which is probably why you can't receive mail because it's not being sent, lol.
I think it's a wrong decision to give full control of the mail server to someone else, anyway, I'll find a way to deal with this.
doclan Thank you for checking even in the midst of difficulties!
Maintaining a membership posting site is a lot of work.
With this message, it’s a blessing that we users were able to clearly know the direction the Captain doclan wants to go in continuing VRCPitate
This is also a story that excites me like a boy’s manga that keeps going without succumbing to unjust false accusations.
(I apologize if this is inappropriate)
I personally prefer the sub-forum style
This is a very important foundation! I imagine that Mx.doclan idealizes a place like a laboratory where engineers gather and discuss technology.
Even if people gather, if it’s significantly different from the direction you wanted, it would be a very empty day of work.
Technical Q&A sites like stackoverflow, GitHub, and CodeProject may be closer to the direction Mx.doclan wants to aim for.
For example,
- Users feel a sense of belonging by getting the role of ‘answering questions’
- Responding to questions has a lower hurdle to take on than disciplining oneself to actively create tutorials
- If know-how accumulates, it becomes easier to assemble an official version of the tutorial in the form of a ‘summary’
These are some of the benefits that can be considered.
How about it?
I hope that even a little, you feel that your thoughts and vision have expanded or been organized by the interactions with me, who is far from order and absurd compared to when you started this topic on 5/2.

It's okay, please be casual
These are some of the benefits that can be considered.
I agree with your points, but I think it might be better to add a reputation system on top of this, where users can directly show their rating feedback on their profile cards to indicate a person's contribution. I have seen some websites do this, but this requires a reasonable mathematical model.
Technical Q&A sites like stackoverflow, GitHub, and CodeProject may be closer to the direction Mx.doclan wants to aim for.
Based on the subforum form of the forum, the current topic-based forum and stackoverflow-style forum can coexist! This is why I mentioned that I want to migrate, although it is not the time yet.
How about it?
Yes, you have made quite constructive suggestions, making me consider things I had not previously envisaged, which may profoundly affect me in the future: if I do something similar again, I will have experience with this, and I am very grateful for it.
Feedback evaluation is a good idea!
I'd like to pay tribute not only to Captain doclan, who is always working hard, and also to senior 114514, who is contributing to uploads even under these circumstances.
Based on the subforum form of the forum, the current topic-based forum and stackoverflow-style forum can coexist!
That’s wonderful!
Even if it’s vague (and may change later), it’s very exciting to be able to share a distant future vision, and it’s very reassuring to feel that Captain doclan is intending to continue VRCPirate.
What I felt from interacting with VRchat users is that in most cases, the know-how of Unity and Blender can only be obtained through others,
and there are not a few people who are troubled by the problem of having to continue to participate regularly in intimate human relationships and community meetings.
So, if more people have a new option to say, ‘I don’t understand this… let’s go ask VRCPirate!’, I fantasize that it would be a very happy thing for many people.
making me consider things I had not previously envisaged, which may profoundly affect me in the future:
I’m very honored!
I’m looking forward to a future where more people have a relationship with Captain doclan and all the crew members that brings out new perspectives and inspirations!
(Of course, in many cases, it will cause trouble and confusion…)
and also to senior 114514, who is contributing to uploads even under these circumstances.
I respect all uploaders who are willing to share content that they pay for.
and it’s very reassuring to feel that Captain doclan is intending to continue VRCPirate.
You may be disappointed that I may not be very active on vrcpirate, more like once a week, but yes I will 'continue' vrcpirate. I was inspired by your idea that once the community self-governance model is complete, it will almost manage itself, so that even if I visit less frequently, the community will still be able to maintain itself.
What I felt from interacting with VRchat users is that in most cases, the know-how of Unity and Blender can only be obtained through others,
Indeed, personally, if there is already a very good tutorial, I would rather promote it, such as creating a new thread and pinning it, but how to put it in a prominent position obviously requires careful consideration.
So, if more people have a new option to say, ‘I don’t understand this… let’s go ask VRCPirate!’, I fantasize that it would be a very happy thing for many people.
Yes, but there are some problems, namely that we are actually a asset site ourselves, and we are engaging in 'Pirate' behavior, and I am not sure whether this is safe enough.
(Of course, in many cases, it will cause trouble and confusion…)
In your case, I think that if someone is very authoritarian, your opinion will not be used anyway. On the contrary, if someone is willing to take your opinion, your voice will be heard even if it is small.
For suggestions, unless it is beyond the scope of ability, or not worth it, or it is completely contrary to the original author's idea, in most cases it may be presented in other ways, but it does not mean that your suggestions are useless. In many cases, an inspiration is more important than giving a direct answer. It is not easy to make anything, and I quite understand the difficulties of practitioners.
Once again, thank you for your hard work in recovering from the false accusation warning!
You may be disappointed that I may not be very active on vrcpirate, more like once a week, but yes I will ‘continue’ vrcpirate.
I’m happy! I appreciate that you are working hard to deal with other activities and unilateral false accusation punishments.
If one of the motivations for Captain doclan to be active more than once a week is our interaction, that would be a great honor and I would feel happy.
I was inspired by your idea that once the community self-governance model is complete, it will almost manage itself, so that even if I visit less frequently, the community will still be able to maintain itself.
“I said that?” I was puzzled and read back to the beginning. I would be happy if a future where you have more time and can interact with users comes.
Indeed, personally, if there is already a very good tutorial, I would rather promote it, such as creating a new thread and pinning it,
It’s wonderful that you are considering a specific structure! In addition to me, who is a dreamer type who talks about dreams, I would like to have someone who can talk about technical theory and design composition participate.
namely that we are actually a asset site ourselves, and we are engaging in ‘Pirate’ behavior, and I am not sure whether this is safe enough.
The reason why I proposed a review article is because I dreamed of a future where VRCPirate would become a site where people would apply to “I want to sell my avatar here!”.
As with YouTube, google, Twitter, and Tiktok, most SNSs have spread by sharing copyright-infringing content.
Most people don’t seem to care whether the attractive content in front of them is uploaded by the copyright holder, and from there, there seem to be people who say “I want to create and publish content myself!”.
Also, I think that what many creators who sell VRChat avatars - much cheaper than the market price of games and others - are looking for is not “money”.
Maybe some people would like to provide it at a low price or for free if they write a careful review and usage feeling.
…I wrote, but there is a possibility that radical people will attack, and there is a possibility that the day will come when the database like a library that you have built up and built will have to be moved to another site.
A site with active interaction seems to be closer to the community that the captain envisions, but on the other hand, there is also a risk.
(Because the number of visitors to the net increases exponentially, it is difficult to adjust, which is also difficult…)
Thank you for putting up with my dream story again this week!
Thanks to the captains working hard, we can visit this ship with peace of mind again.

I’m happy! I appreciate that you are working hard to deal with other activities and unilateral false accusation punishments.
In fact, I am still disappointed with this. Once you successfully make contact, it is true that these problems can be solved. But the effort and time spent before you successfully make contact is quite large.
If one of the motivations for Captain doclan to be active more than once a week is our interaction, that would be a great honor and I would feel happy.
I'm currently consulting with the team and building these new features, so I'll probably be here more often and you can throw in more ideas.
“I said that?” I was puzzled and read back to the beginning
Indeed, this is just a re-quote.
I would like to have someone who can talk about technical theory and design composition participate.
The development team(2 developers) does not have an account on vrcpirate, as they do not wish to be publicly visible (to avoid potential risk of being tracked). We are not that big to have a designer. The design of vrcpirate is pretty much just some simple ascii text and a utf8 anchor icon.
As with YouTube, google, Twitter, and Tiktok, most SNSs have spread by sharing copyright-infringing content.
All copyrights that can be protected have been complied with by companies such as Google in a way that you are not aware of. For Youtube, if they detect that copyrighted music is used in a video, the video will not have any revenue; for some social media platforms, they may even buy copyrights and allow users to use these copyrighted content only on their own platforms (maybe written in the ToS). Basically, all the platforms you mentioned are not without copyright control, but they have their own ways to "compromise". I am not saying that there is no copyright infringement on all platforms, but it is a "dark place" here, and the author may not mind his copyrighted content being used in this form. For 3D resources, every piece of content that is not sold is a direct loss. Extreme authors will frantically raise their own content protection barriers and frequently issue DMCA.
I don't have any data to support my statement, but the type of authors like you mentioned may be quite small. For most authors, they make 3D content purely for commercial purposes. It is hard to say that these people will not mind piracy.
Japan happens to be a country where users pay great attention to copyright.
The reason why I proposed a review article is because I dreamed of a future where VRCPirate would become a site where people would apply to “I want to sell my avatar here!”.
Quite interesting, but it will probably be removed as an ad. We don't have any plans to do anything commercial like this at the moment, but there does need to be a way to support VRCPirate.
there seem to be people who say “I want to create and publish content myself!”.
To me, I think they (new users) just don't realize that there is actually copyright.
…I wrote, but there is a possibility that radical people will attack, and there is a possibility that the day will come when the database like a library that you have built up and built will have to be moved to another site.
A site with active interaction seems to be closer to the community that the captain envisions, but on the other hand, there is also a risk.
I will do my best to keep vrcpirate running.
doclan Thank you, Captain doclan. I owe you an apology.
I was being optimistic with doclan post, but wanting to draw a line is a natural risk consideration as an administrative manager.
Thank you for the detailed explanation of the situation.
The development team(2 developers) does not have an account on
I should have written accurately that “it would be fun to have a wider discussion from different perspectives if users come forward”.
Because I don’t intend to demand, my style of writing may become sloppy,
which is not good. I will be conscious of the structure that makes you worry about my remarks.
But the effort and time spent before you successfully make contact is quite large.
It’s painful that YouTube and Google, among others, don’t tell you what they think is a problem…
Thank you for working hard in such a difficult situation.
I’m currently consulting with the team and building these new features, so I’ll probably be here more often and you can throw in more ideas.
Yeahooooooooooooo!!!
I’m looking forward to the new system, and I want to post some kind of topic by the end of this month at the latest.
